An advocate of the belief that architecture created is comparable to an emergent poetry arising from the fine application of patterns, generative principals and refraction. Ketan Jawdekar is a born artist who is an architect by profession. With over 19 years of experience in the field of architecture and interior design, his tangential thinking and the abstract approach towards design have won many accolades and have delivered some of the world- class projects.
Having stood second in Shivaji University, Ketan achieved distinction in his Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. After graduating he worked with Ar. Sanjay Prasade and later joined Ar. Mickey Chana to gain on site experience along with critical detailing in design.
His academic excellence, qualifications, experience and expertise help Ketan enhance aesthetics and structural combinations. He believes that utilization of available resources ensures work and client satisfaction, a perfectly blended composition. Drawing inspiration from Nature and the strong local context, he has successfully delivered over 10,000,000 Sq. Ft. of ‘fusion’ architectural and interior experiences to the clients’ satisfaction.
Apart from architecture, his interest varies from painting, theatre, acting, direction, photography and mountaineering and has bagged many national awards for the same.

Ketan was recently chosen as TOP 100 HOT ARCHITECTS OF INDIA and TOP 10 Hospitality Designers of INDIA by Architect and Interiors India. He is the founder and Principal of Studio K-7 that has bagged many international and national awards and accolades.

Sky Bar Roof Top Restaurant by Ketan Jawdekar Sky Bar is a rooftop restaurant located above a hotel in Kolhapur, India. The main feature is a parametric ceiling made of 20521 recycled paper tubes suspended from a fabricated frame. The paper tubes refer to the textile mills of the region, where similar tubes are used to roll fabric. The tubes move with the natural breeze and form wave-like patterns. The ceiling pattern also divides the long space into sections, including a bar, an open seating area and a sun deck. Basalt stone walls and a grey ceramic floor complete the interior.

Sky Lounge Restaurant and Bar by Ketan Jawdekar Sky Lounge is a rooftop restaurant and bar in Kolhapur, India. The venue has 1800 square meters of indoor space and a 150 square meter open terrace. The ceiling is formed by 20521 recycled paper tubes hung as repeated modules, which create a parametric pattern. The tubes refer to the local textile industry, where similar tubes are used to roll fabric. The pattern moves with the natural breeze. Basalt stone walls and a grey ceramic floor complement the raw paper tubes. Separate zones include a pizza counter, an enclosed bar and a sun deck.
