Marc Atlan is a French-born American Creative Director based in Los Angeles, California. He is the founder of “Marc Atlan Design, inc.” where he conceptualizes & designs perfume bottles & packagings, ad campaigns & catalogues, logos & brand identities, magazine designs as well as store displays, events, installations & TV Commercials.

His diverse roster of clients features Comme des Garçons, Helmut Lang, Tom Ford, Yves Saint Laurent, Prada Beauty, Marc Jacobs, Maison Martin Margiela, Cartier, Capitol Records, Oliver Stone, Joe Pytka, Philippe Starck, Coty Prestige, Unilever, Christian Dior Couture & Christian Dior Parfums. His current creations include projects for David Beckham, H&M, The Dennis Hopper Art Trust & Dior.

For the past 25 years, Marc Atlan has been recognized internationally by more than forty awards including winning a Red Dot, a Gold Pentaward, a Gold One Show, Best Packaging of the year by I.D. magazine and has received a Best Packaging Design recognition at the european FiFi Awards. He is also the recipient of numerous awards by the Art Directors Club in N.Y. and the D&AD in the U.K.

Marc Atlan was honored by having his work selected as a “Top 10 Design of the Year” by Time magazine, as well as a “Top 5 Design of the Year” by Wallpaper magazine. He has recently been awarded the prestigious “Product Designer of the Year” title by the Pacific Design Center in their “Stars of Design” awards ceremony.

In March 2011, Marc Atlan originated the idea of teaming up David Beckham with H&M. In close collaboration with H&M’s Creative Director & David Beckham’s team, he subsequently art directed the ensuing worldwide ad campaigns, packagings and collaterals. In February 2012, this partnership produced “one of the most talked about Super Bowl TV commercials ever aired” (Source: Ad Age®, Super Bowl XLVI). In a bold move, Atlan proposed Guy Ritchie as the movie director who would shoot the upcoming Spring 2013 TV Commercial based on Marc’s original concept & script.
