The facade, cladded with white lattice window, showcases modernized interior of cultural undertones. Deep backdrops set off spiral staircases, a minimalist statement built on golden ratio. Mismatch flooring with vernacular marbles, arraying in new forms of herringbone. In upstairs workplace, authentic Taiwanese tile flooring is partially preserved. Mix with mosaic and wood parquets, creating a cultural paradox to stimulate an intriguing connection between classic and contemporary. A la Blanc Residential Interior Design by Hsin Ting Weng The flawless serenity is traced from whitish undertones. Mirror leads to endless illusion, while marble veins gently permeate on walls. Polyline-structured bookshelves echo to the lower titanium- metal niche. Once diffused glows refract from porcelain-tile flooring, the niche conveys a calm and void statement. Metallic lusts coordinate with decoration colors, delineating eclectic aesthetics: the brass pendent contrasts to indigo streamlined sofa, and copper skirts on slate-blue kitchenette. Upstairs, the light-filled bedroom seeks for a poised lifestyle and co-existence with organic vibes. Verse of Tact Residential Interior Design by Hsin Ting Weng Inspired by Gaston Bachelard's work, "The Poetics of Space", this project apartment presents poise and stable forms, imbued with refined and well-rounded visualizations, through conflicting and dramatic approaches of interior design. Remembrance of the vintage is seen from the emerald marble and iconic floral decorative glass details, fusing with contemporary touches, such as cement finishing and rebar table base. In the meanwhile, to comply with upcoming sustainable trends, reducing construction phases, applying residual and up-cycling materials are considered and ultimately fulfilled. Tinker Patches Residential Interior Design by Hsin Ting Weng This project is a residential abode in the downtown of Taichung city, where the artistry and ingenuity aren’t sacrificed within the layout of 78 sqm. Amid the seemingly normal white wall-to-ceiling layout, sculptural curvy shapes at joints between wall to ceiling and fixtures, permeating a wavy flow into the depth of apartment. Colors and purplish tints are meticulously misplaced around; whereas hues lively pop out from thresholds and door frame, creating inviting contrast with whitish backdrop. The sheer puts on a variegated graft at wide windows, to set off a beautiful panorama of sunset. Gallery Crossroad Exhibition Spatial Design by Hsin Ting Weng Gallery Crossroad is a culture hub for photography lovers, revamped from an idle house. Image reviews depend on the perspective and self experience of viewers. In order not to interfere with the viewer thinking, cyclorama walls, seen at the textured checkerboard storefront and interior space, diminishes accessibility and allows people to see the full frame. Steel wireframe shelving, from columns to ceilings, is functional for hanging pieces, and its arch form visually extends the building depth. A translucent hollow-board screen suffuses an indistinct glow, resonant with surrealist ambiances. Crescent Residential Interior Design by Hsin Ting Weng Imagining the acoustic waves rise, swirl, and then fall in the space, outlines in a smooth trajectory of arc. The apartment owner enjoys listening to music. In response to his requirements on his audio-visual devices, most acoustic equipment is embedded underneath the backlit ceiling arc, suffusing a lyrical ambiance. The arc slithers spaces and holistically complements with clean linearity. While minimal forms and organic shapes dominate the space, suffusing with tranquility, the red pendant above the dining table draws an artistic contrast, playfully presenting stacks of lights and shadows. Champion Wine Cave by Hsin Ting Weng Being a wine cellar instead of a bar, this project overall design sustains winemaking undertones. Cladding fire-bricks at the outer layer of insulation wall implies how wine cellars keep humidity and temperature in Burgundy, France. Situated at the core of the layout upstairs, the combination of brass and rusty steelworks is inspired from the still, the apparatus of distilling whisky, providing a centralizing, moderate, distance to serve every customer. A continuity of arc can be seen on the logo, bar façade, and other elevation details from spaces, implementing the unison of corporate image. Aqua Flash Apartment by Hsin Ting Weng This small-scale apartment aims to be open for sufficient daylighting. Asymmetrical glass-recessed sliding doors, inspired from the artwork, The Weather Project, of the artist, Olafur Eliasson, in which the shape implies the impression of sunset, where humans perceive natural powers in an artificial space. Pine veneers and colorful furniture paired with black laminates and cement backdrops, of which the paint is derived from a patent topcoat, made from upcycling sediments of local reservoirs. Neon tubes provide another mood ambiance for residents, and highlights the identity of the space. Lush Purline House Interior Design by Hsin Ting Weng This is a 5 story townhouse, where a family of four generations lives. Aiming at interlacing every needs and emotional appeals of each generation demographic, the design scheme maintains a low profile with full consideration in daily life, while the consideration of both old and young family members, arcs were used to replace right angles around. With specified combination, highlights the interdependent relationship between coldness, organic, order, and freedom, also supports personal characteristics and functional utility, symbolizing the harmonious coexistence of rationality and sensibility. Moonlit Treading Apartment by Hsin Ting Weng This project begins with a minimalist impression, carefully delineating the complexity within, through a surface that is clean and almost austere, yet harboring emotions and a rebellious spirit. It aims to explore whether minimalism can transcend a consistent rustic appearance, showcasing personal spirit and the pursuit of geometry and art. Counterpoint Poetry Three Section Compound by Hsin Ting Weng Located in the countryside, this case is the inheritance of 2d generation's hometown return. Chinese architectural concepts are introduced under the Inspiration of Mandala Chart. The twisted traffic flow created by front storage areas with the core centrally placed satisfies the need of Feng Shui. The ambience is maintained through the symmetry, layered traditional layouts, and earth tones symbolizing soil's fruitfulness. The young homeowner's choice of the apartment room is conventional, much like Wang Da-hung's practice of mixing Chinese and Western elements. |
