Vyri Yang was born in Beijing, China. After graduating from University of Science & Technology Beijing with a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, she worked as a Visual Designer and Site Architect at Municipal Commission of Tourism Development Haidian District Beijing for a while. She attended the Academy of Art University from January 2014 to May 2017, graduating with a MFA Degree in Fashion Design. She has won the Bronze A Design Award in fashion, apparel and garment design category in 2016-2017 period.

Her portfolio includes some of the works that finished in her university, including fashion design, fashion styling, photography, and beauty.

Her design is based on the young designer price point not only because she is confident in her concept, but also because the garments are meticulously constructed. Her designs start from a conceptual idea to build the narrative of a girl who is mysterious and confident yet soft and refined. She is strong but not rough, feminine but not girly. Those who understand her, and to an extension me, are important. Those who don’t are irrelevant. Her girl has the courage to say goodbye to the past and not be pretentious, sentimental, or fragile. Through her inner emotion we can understand the new definition of beauty.
