Dongjoo Jung is a New York based interdisciplinary designer, taking a MFA degree in Interior Design at Pratt Institute. He was born in Seoul, South Korea, and after finishing military service he decided to move to the States studying art history. Later, he studied interior design at California College of the Arts. With a variety of academic and professional experiences in diverse fields, including working as a stage designer, graphic designer, serving as a soldier, and studying art history, he has been come to understand the ultimate relationship between arts and human beings, and how they are interrelated influencing each other. Through having those experiences, he also believes that one of the most important roles as a designer is to make better society by contributing himself.
