Chia-Hui Lien, born in 1976 in Taiwan, acts as the Creative Director of YI JIA VISUAL IDENTITY DESIGN now. At the same time, she is also Tainan University of Technology and an assistant professor of Department of Product Design. Her professional fields of design include brand design, graphic design, packaging design, book design, and exhibition visual design. She designs various design projects for customers from each and all sections, including Kaohsiung Rapid Transit, Bureau of Cultural Affairs Kaohsiung City Government, China Steel Corporation (CSC) ,Taiwan Power Company , Kaohsiung City History Museum. She is a very good designer and has won many international design awards every year.

Aesthetics and Chinese Characters by TANG-HSUAN LIEN Aesthetics and Chinese is a series of posters based on the design of Chinese characters. The structure of each character is built from its radical strokes, which are presented in rotating and gradual arrangements. The series turns written text into visual symbols and uses font design as a contemporary form of expression. Posters, invitation cards and a book were printed to highlight the character forms. The posters measure 70 by 100 centimetres. The work presents Chinese language and characters as a lasting cultural asset of Oriental culture.

The Sun from the East Event Image Design by TANG-HSUAN LIEN The Sun From The East is an event image design created for a design university. The sun is used as the main visual element, because the sun rises in the east and reflects both the name of the school and its steady yearly growth. Circles and other geometric figures form the basic elements, and the composition was changed through long testing. The design is applied to posters, books and invitation cards. Bright film and fog film were applied to selected areas during printing to highlight the graphics. The posters measure 70 by 100 centimeters.

Lamay Island’s Souvenir Series Brand Packaging Design by TANG-HSUAN LIEN Lamay Island's Souvenir Series is a gift packaging design for dried fish and fish sticks made from yellowfin tuna. The visual image is based on the scenery and culture of Lamay Island in Taiwan, and the local Stone Vase rock is used as the main graphic. The outer box is made of paper and opens with a magnetic cover, and it measures 34 by 23 by 6 centimeters. The printing uses a bronze gold special color and partial gloss film. An inner zipper bag keeps the dried fish fresh. After the food is eaten, the box can be reused for storage.

Virtual and Reality Visual Image Design Exhibition by TANG-HSUAN LIEN Virtual and Reality is a visual image design exhibition that interprets the process of design creation. The title joins two opposite words to reflect the conflict between abstraction and reality. Font strokes are dismantled, and the tools used in design form the structure of the letters. The series includes posters, cards, notebooks, stationery, direct mail and packaging. All items are printed in two special colors, and the applied methods include embossing, local glazing and origami folding. The exhibition was shown in Tainan, Taipei and Kaohsiung.

End-Point Start-Point Visual Image Design Exhibition by TANG-HSUAN LIEN End Point Start Point is a graphic design exhibition. The exhibition explores the sense of emptiness that can follow the completion of a design project. Design is presented as a cyclical process, in which each end point becomes a new starting point for reflection and further work. The visual system is applied to posters, direct mail, cards, a notebook, stationery and packaging. All applications are produced with two special color printing. The exhibition was shown in Tainan, Taipei and Kaohsiung.
