Ali Sharifi Omid1.I have been designing for about 16 years. Although I’ve mostly worked as an interior designer focused on interior store decorations. In the past 3 years, I’ve been working more professionally in the field of decorative objects such as lighting and furniture.
I’m interested in developing my ideas regarding objects used in the interior space of the house. I hope to collaborate with international companies working in this specialized field along the way. It is my dream to design a product that would be sold on a worldwide scale and its user would experience the same pleasure that I had experienced creating the same product. Ravaq Table by Ali Sharifi Omid Ravaq aims to renew the grandeur those moqarnas ceilings covered with mirrors in a smaller scale. These forms are rooted in a 1000 year tradition and their modern reconstruction ties the ancient with the contemporary. Ravaq reflects the surrounding colors from different angles to match the place that it goes to more beautifully. The main challenge of ravaq was to create new and innovative forms from a traditional pattern and motif so that once you are faced by the whole pattern, its authenticity takes you back in time while you are still use that with modern furniture. Khayyam Table by Ali Sharifi Omid khayam side table is inspired by a postmodern architectural work this design has been developed from the repetition of X-shaped geometric motif around the center of a circle from another point of view, this motif looks like dummies who are dancing around the axis of a circle together bright metal of this table reflects the light and colors of the surroundings and It somehow interacts with the environment Transparent smoked glass on the table exposes the overall form of the table to the audience. Wheat Bunch Collection by Ali Sharifi Omid Gandom collection consists of a Round dining table for four people and chairs general form of the table reminiscent of a bunch of wheat which all the branches have been connected together with a colored leather ribbon the base part of the table is similar to the stems and the holder of the glass plate has been shaped like the wheat bunch the simplicity and the chair bases will lead the table to look better and the repetition of arc of a circle around an axis on the back part of the chair ,besides of an appropriate ergonomics has created a general resemblance under the plate of the table |
