Kevin Hu, an interior designer who has more than ten years of experience in the top brand hotel and high-end interior design service. As principal designer of many well-known brand hotels in first-tier cities in China, Kevin has formed mature and sensitive perspective of design and he has always been based on the design concept of ‘harmony with' design theory. He thinks design is not only creation work, but also should deal with the relationship between people and space, space and elements to make the whole balanced in the process of potential dynamic development, and finally to achieve design reliability, which he thinks is the basis of design, and also his inspiration and original intention when creating H DESIGN.

Shenzhen Longyuan School by Kevin Hu Longyuan is a nine year school designed for 3,360 students in 72 classes, mainly serving nearby residents. The campus has an L shaped layout on a narrow site with a plot ratio of 1.24. Primary and middle school teaching buildings have separate entrances and are linked by steps, ramps, lanes, corridors and courtyards. Specialized classrooms are placed between the two levels for shared use. A social corridor divides the teaching and sports areas and holds five colored volumes for group activities. Wood, aluminum sheet and fabric are used indoors, with planting added for a green atmosphere.

Lotus Resort of Jiuhua Moutain Hotel by Kevin Hu Lotus Resort of Jiuhua Mountain is a resort hotel interior located in the Jiuhua Mountain scenic area of Chizhou City, China. The interior supports meditation, meeting, learning and rest. A reception hall, a meditation room, a leisure and discussion area and a tea room are arranged around a lotus pond, which forms a buffer zone and a viewing distance. Local materials such as brick, tile, wood and stone are used with modern building techniques. Courtyard corridors follow the direction of the mountains. The guest rooms follow themes drawn from local Hui culture and Buddhist thought.

Tengchong Heshunli Sales Center by Kevin Hu Tengchong Heshunli is a sales center located in Tengchong City, Yunnan Province, China. The site lies north of the ancient Nanzhao Kingdom city site and near the old town of Heshun. The interior joins traditional Chinese elements with modern space construction. Warm burlywood tones set the main color of the space. Wooden strips cross above the main hall and form the ceiling texture, while brass grilles define the bar area. A geometric staircase of wood veneer leads to the second floor. A large wall painting shows the landscape of Tengchong.
