I have a degree in Pharmacy and I was working for a while in a Biochemistry Department in a prestigious University in London. Meeting different people with different study background gave me the inspiration to make a fully functioning new baby feeding product. I studied a lot about physiology and nutrition and combining this with my passion for food and a healthy life style I wanted to transfer this knowledge to my kids. I invented a baby feeder that helps parents in the early stages of feeding a baby, whilst encouraging the baby to help themselves to their food. Being a mother of three children, I found the weaning stage with each of them difficult for a variety of reasons. I created Otto the Octopus as I felt that there is need for a feeding system that met the demands of weaning children and the busy lifestyles that parents lead. My background in physiology and nutrition combined with a passion for food and healthy living inspired me to try to make a positive difference for busy parents, saving them both the time and stress of ensuring their child has had a fulfilling mealtime.
