Born in Indonesia, Revano has been highly recognized for his entrepreneurial achievements; founding numerous independent and highly successful firms that have provided services for all stages of the design process, from design and construction, down to the minute details of furniture design and fabrication.

Revano received his Bachelor Degree in architecture from Parahyangan University in Indonesia followed by a Master of Architecture in the field of Emergent Technologies and Design at the Architectural Association in London, where his pioneering research throughout his post-graduate studies allowed him to serve as a consultant for Buro Happold in London on the Cairo Expo City project in Egypt (designed by Zaha Hadid Archtects).

Revano’s highly distinguished career has been cemented with an extensive number of national and international awards, three of which; The Best of The Best, The Excellent Design and Favorite Design, - awarded by the Indonesian Architectural Association - were presented to him during his time in academia. However, his most prized possession was for his achievement in winning 1st place in his first International Competition for the development of Bangka Waterfront City in Indonesia.

Revano has spear headed some of Indonesia’s most prominent offices, including RSI Group, RevaStudio, RevaInterior, LeopardTurtle, Flux Furniture and MSSM Associates. In addition to his personal awards, his offices have also been in the limelight, where RevaStudio have been recognized as one of Indonesia’s top 50 Interior design companies. More prominently, the same office currently holds the MURI world record for designing 250 interior projects within 10 working hours. However, despite the international recognition, Revano prides himself in being an architect whose love of design supersedes all else, a stance that has been the source for his continuing success.

More importantly however, Revano ensures that he gives back to the architectural community, holding countless conferences and seminars lecturing to students and professionals alike on the progressive practices of architectural design and how their application is meant to serve all aspects of human life.

Z Line House Private Residential by Revano Satria Z Line House is a private house located in Semarang, Indonesia. The design uses a parametric system to shape both the geometry and the structure. A series of calculated, sculptural interventions defines the facade, while the interior spaces are planned for fluid transitions in both horizontal and vertical directions. The geometry is optimized to control water flow during the heavy rainfall of the tropical climate. A detailed solar study guided the eastern and western facades, and the openings follow view axes, occupant height and the even distribution of natural light.

Il Pausa House Private Home by Revano Satria Il Pausa House is a private residence built in Jakarta, Indonesia. The design uses a parametric system to define both the geometry and the structure. Sculptural interventions on the facade create tension between contrasting elements, while the interior offers fluid transitions between spaces in horizontal and vertical directions. The size and position of the facade openings follow a detailed solar study, view axes and occupant height, so natural light is spread evenly inside. The entrance is set above street level and welcomes visitors on arrival.
