Also he worked as an executive designer and an office manager for several companies at the same time. In 2007, Takuji has established KAMIO DESIGN, ICHII CORPORATION in Chigasaki, Kanagawa. by by by Villa De Nozomi Senior Care Residence by Takuji Kamio Villa De Nozomi is a senior care residence in Tokyo, Japan, operated by a hospital. The interior is arranged like an art gallery, with geometric graphics applied to the walls and floors. In the main lounge, the ceiling is built at slightly different height levels and marked with colored circle shapes, which alters the lighting reflections and gives the space more depth. Wooden panels and PVC sheets are cut into small pieces and joined into new patterns to keep costs low. The building has six stories and a gross floor area of 3600 square meters. Garden Love Clue Office by Takuji Kamio Garden Love Clue is an office interior designed with the atmosphere of a garden. The space of 90.18 square meters is divided into three areas: a window side lounge, a central symbol tree table, and a large communicative counter. Most planters are hung under the ceiling on steel and wooden framing ladders instead of standing on the floor. Ceiling spotlights are mixed with the hanging planters to suggest sunlight in a forest. Stone and steel textures on the floor and walls add contrast. Power outlets and other office functions are embedded into the furniture, floor, and walls. Cups Kamakura Cafe and Hotel by Takuji Kamio Cups Kamakura is an interior design for a cafe restaurant that also serves as a hotel. The building faces the ocean in Kamakura, Japan, and the design takes its inspiration from images of water. Graphics based on water were created and applied to the cafe and hotel spaces through careful work on color balance, sunlight reflection and material selection. The building is more than 50 years old, so the ceiling panels were removed to reveal the original wooden structure. The wood was finished with clear glossy lacquer and new steel supports were added. Ching Ming Kyoto Restaurant by Takuji Kamio Ching Ming Kyoto is a Chinese restaurant interior located in a train station building in Kyoto, Japan. The floor area is 110 square meters. Regulations limited the ceiling, so the lighting was suspended and treated as art. Line lights are formed in triangle shapes and connected continuously to surround the seating areas. The ceiling is painted black to emphasize the floating line and ball shaped lights. The walls are covered with oil paintings of old Chinese stories, combined with geometric patterns and graphic floor tiles. |
