WSG Office Building by Michihiro Matsuo This is the headquarters plan of a company that manufactures and sells weddings and tablecloths. He quotes the shape of the table and the softness of the cloth in the buildings and materials, structurally supports the large overhanging circular parts, and gives a sense of floating to create the future. The design is impressive with a large volume, but harmonized with the natural and local environments.

Gap Residential House by Michihiro Matsuo An architecture with a space inside that cannot be imagined from a simple and neatly organized façade. The volume protruding to the south is angled to obtain light from the courtyard, which also gives different angles and heights to the interior space. Solid diagonal is drawn inside, space configuration variegated are bold, airy is secured to the inside of a closed. Create a new sense of distance and communication for future residents.

Gallege Residential House by Michihiro Matsuo Open and impressive architecture with windows throughout the road. It is a garage house where three hobby cars can be parked on a small site in a residential area, and the car and people's lives are balanced appropriately, and the architecture itself is evaluated as a skillful design that is a gallery. And although the composition of the space is very simple, the continuous windows arranged in the horizontal direction form a beautiful and well-balanced facade.

St Residential House by Michihiro Matsuo A villa built on a site with a good view. Some limited grounds, indoor and outdoor are designed to be integral. On the first floor, the view of the fusion of the city and the sea moves through the pool in the center. View also looks second floor in the same direction to close the outside of the field of view, it is devised that can benefit only from this space.

Float Residential House by Michihiro Matsuo A private residence with a skip floor that makes the most of the difference in height of the land. The living room is placed at a height where the surrounding buildings cannot be seen, and it is devised so that the surrounding scenery can be taken in according to the owner's request. The rest of the living space is located on the middle floor, and the entrance is connected to the garden, creating a space that welcomes visitors with a sense of depth. From the looks of it, you can tell it's designed to capture the landscape you need, wherever you are.

Cross Residential House by Michihiro Matsuo A private residence built on a site facing two roads in a quiet residential area. The exterior, which can be seen from the outside, has an orderly form, ensuring a moderate sense of openness while protecting the privacy of the residents. The interior is moderately open and has a visual expanse. In addition, in accordance with the shape of the site, the two planes intersect at different angles in the center, and the space created here gently connects the rooms. A new blank space is created by appropriately dividing the plane, and the plan is to deepen communication between residents.

Yosakoi Shop by Michihiro Matsuo This is a store/factory plan that manufactures and sells Mizunasu, a specialty of Japan. The interior of the store is simple and finished in a modern space where you can feel Japanese elements. The exterior, which can be seen from the road in front, contrasts with the windowless factory area on the right, and the store on the left has an opening overlooking the store, designed to encourage customer guidance. A different material is used as an accent in the center, and the design takes into consideration the balance between the left and right sides.

Core Residential House by Michihiro Matsuo The planned site is located in the back of a quiet residential area, and houses are densely built around it. A high fence was installed around the site, exterior windows were kept to a minimum, and each area was divided into layers of different heights centered on a central light well. Inside this house, where privacy is protected, a moderate sense of distance in the space visually connects the residents, creating an interior space that spreads diagonally. As for the design, it has a simple structure, and although it is closed, it creates an open space for the residents.

Frames Office by Michihiro Matsuo This building is characterized by its distinctive window frame design, featuring a well balanced exterior with a floating upper window frame and a horizontal canopy on the first floor. The thoughtful placement of plants is a key design element, effectively dispersing the gaze of passersby and enhancing the sense of openness within the office space. As a wooden structure, it demonstrates a commitment to low-carbon construction, and the seismic design, based on structural analysis, ensures both an open aesthetic and safety. These factors were all comprehensively evaluated.

Eternal Residential House by Michihiro Matsuo This project draws out the potential of the construction site, proposing a house with a three-dimensional structure above and below ground on a land with a difference in elevation, creating a continuous space from underground to above ground. The floating exterior design blends into the surrounding landscape, and the windows on the south side let in views and natural light, creating an open and comfortable space. Taking into consideration the effectiveness of the site, the space was designed to achieve both an open feeling and comfort.

Gave Residence by Michihiro Matsuo This building establishes a sophisticated visual identity through the emphasis on horizontal lines and the contrasting use of materials. The imposing Ena stone base and the contrasting, floating form of the second floor create an overwhelming presence despite its low profile. The cantilever, which casts deep shadows, functions as a garage canopy while also giving the building a sense of dynamism. This is a work that stands out for its harmony of proportion and materials, permeated by a stoic aesthetic that treats cars and architecture as equals.

Stilleness Guest House by Michihiro Matsuo The constraints of the extremely small urban plot are overcome through a multi layered spatial configuration in the vertical direction. The texture of the roof tiles on the exterior walls and the lattice at the entrance function as delicate screens that block out the surrounding noise. Inside, the line of sight is controlled around the central courtyard, and traditional elements such as the Goemon bath and alcove are precisely incorporated into a sharp frame. The contrast of materials and the calculated flow of movement present a new style of Japanese living in contemporary urban spaces.
