Matthew Elton a Londoner - St. Martins Alumni and award winning furniture designer.

Growing up surrounded by creativity from his actress mother Stacey Tendeter and Sculptor father Andy Elton, they assisted in carving his path to follow a career in creativity. Furniture and interiors soon became his focus, as this was a wonderful way to incorporate his passion for materials and process. From a young age he successfully built a furniture and interiors company in east London, which eventually partnered with a large retailer to offer custom design and furniture to a broader spectrum of clients.

Now back as an independent designer, Matthew has set up Studio-Hygger with his business partner Mary. They focus their energy on designing and delivering commercial interiors and furniture locally and internationally. Studio-Hygger has become the perfect environment to put all Matthew’s experience and expertise offering their clients his extensive knowledge of design and quality.
