I am an illustrator based in Cork city, Ireland. I work on a broad selection of projects from festival installations to private exhibitions and comic book art. My main 'tools of the trade' are pencil and paper, a Wacom tablet and Photoshop. I like delicate lines, a considered colour palette and expressing emotion through my personal work as well as having a serious soft spot for drawing animals.

Not Make Believe Illustration Campaign by Ciara Chapman This illustration project tackles the theme that Chronic pain is not Make Believe. The images are a combination of colours, textures and characters coming together to communicate a message.There are seven images total in this series.The protagonist is a young female surrounded by characters that are patterned and clear. There are foxes emerging from the grass and the silhouettes of dark and light enhance the surrounding colour. The Artistic message of each illustration connects to the viewer through symbolism in each image.

Imagination and Reality Illustration by Ciara Chapman This large window decal illustrates where reality and imagination merge to create an impression of an individual's life after a medical intervention. The illustration adheres to the glass on the inside of this impressive building, measuring over 10,000mm in height. This artwork was created with accessibility in mind. The artwork is installed in a window space because window spaces are accessible to view from outside the building. Therefore, members of the public who view the image can stay in their car to view the image should their physical limitations require them to do so.
