I began to study fine arts at the age of five, such as sketch, watercolor, oil painting and so on. In fact, I was very naughty when I was a child. My parents didn't have time to look after me, so they sent me to the holiday art class and let the art teacher take care of me. Then found that i have a special sensitivity to art, and then I never give up my art study until I finish my studies and enter the social work. It is logical that i become a designer. I think my most suitable job is design, which will bring me endless happiness and satisfaction. I love design very much.
After ten years of work, I started to set up my own studio, because I have accumulated a lot of experience, and many friends support my decision. I think setting up my own studio is the way I have to go. Now the studio has been six years, more and more people recognize us, we began to go international, and more friends to discuss design.

Lovely Xinjiang Restaurant by Jie Yang Lovely Xinjiang is the visual identity of a large restaurant in Urumqi, Xinjiang. The design draws on the local Uygur craft of grinding and joining bricks, seen on traditional building surfaces. Cultural elements of the region are drawn as simple graphic blocks and joined into larger figures. Each block stands for a different culture, and together the blocks form one complete picture. The identity is applied through the restaurant, which includes 56 private rooms, each themed on a national tradition. The intent is to present the many cultures of Xinjiang as one whole.

Time Facial Mask by Jie Yang Time is a packaging design created for a moisturizing facial mask. The box opens like a book, so the pages can be turned from the first to the last. The artwork uses a water beast from ancient Chinese mythology and colors taken from the Dunhuang murals. The outer package measures 200 mm long, 110 mm wide and 50 mm thick. Degradable paper is used as the main material. A UV brightening treatment and repeated embossing add contrast to the dark background. The design links traditional culture with a modern cosmetics brand.

Gift of Huangyao Sauce by Jie Yang Gift of Huangyao is a gift packaging design for a seasoning sauce made in Huangyao ancient town, Guangxi, China. Three layers of hollowed out carved paper are placed one behind the other to form a three-dimensional scene. The outer layer shows gatehouses, archways and bridges. The middle layer shows pavilions and local life. The inner layer shows mountains and rivers. The arrangement recalls a traditional Chinese courtyard home. The bottle cap takes the shape of a bluestone road. Degradable paper is used as the main material.

Sugar of Wagu Candy by Jie Yang Sugar of Wagu is a packaging design for a traditional candy made from grain amaranth seeds in Hubei, China. The candy is a local delicacy of the Tujia people. The hard paper shell is printed flat and then folded into the shape of a tiger, and the sweets are held in the colorful belly. All colors come from Tujia brocade patterns and are extracted from local plants. These natural pigments fade after about one year, so the package returns to nature. The design aims to make a little-known regional specialty familiar to a wider public.

Alpine Sprout Green Tea Packaging by Jie Yang Alpine Sprout is a packaging design for alpine green tea grown in Wufeng County, Hubei Province, China. The tea grows on high mountains and cliffs, and picking the leaves is difficult. Abstract forms of steep mountains and Chinese calligraphy appear on the outer box to reflect the steep growing environment and the work of the tea pickers. A raised and recessed pattern on the side of the box recalls the ancient tea horse road. Degradable cardboard forms the outer box, and a degradable paper bag holds the tea inside.
