I am Xiang Qian from China. My love for Chinese culture and graphic design has led me to the road of graphic design. The extreme demand stems from the fact that I regard design as a lifelong career.

Carp Leap The Tea by Qian Xiang Carp Leap is a packaging design for black tea, created as a business gift. The design tells a story with traditional Oriental elements such as the fish, the dragon and the pine tree. Three stages are shown: leaping over the dragon gate, surpassing oneself and enjoying life. The illustrations refer to the memory of struggle shared by entrepreneurs. The box has a hard mounted shell with embossing and gold foil stamping, an origami paper bag and a sponge insert that holds each item in place. A cup with crystal glaze is included.

The Tea Packing by Qian Xiang Pony Pack Tea is a gift packaging design created for premium tea. The concept follows the long history of tea making, in which traditional methods are preserved and combined with modern production management. Chinese characters written in the styles of different periods are layered on the surface to express quality carried across time. The set includes a box and a canvas bag closed with a tightening rope knot. Simple textured paper is used, with screen printing, bronzing and embossing. The forms recall tea columns and tea cakes.
