Bookstore Like Home Reading Environment by CHEN SHIH HAN Study is an interior design for a six floor reading space in Taiwan, covering 496 square feet. The project applies the idea of home to every level, so each floor offers a different feeling. The first floor holds the main reading area, where a stepped platform suits children. A tall book wall emphasizes the high ceiling. The mezzanine combines reading, meeting and dining functions. The second floor is a study with a book wall, a glass display case and a fireplace. Transparent glass connects the levels, while soft gray blue tones and light wood veneer create a calm atmosphere.
