Noda Designs is a multi-disciplinary interior design studio that aims to create original interiors that are mindful of architecture and the surroundings by pushing the boundaries and effortlessly flow between residential and commercial spaces.

Nora Voon is the Founder and Principal of Noda Designs. A graduate of Inchbald School of Design in London, UK. She graduated as the recipient of the prestigious Fox Linton award for her innovative commercial design for Preen Fashion House but has since received multiple awards for her work in many countries. Working with artisans and designers, her projects span across the globe in Europe, Asia, Middle East and N. America. Deeply inspired by her travels, her love of traditional craftsmanship, bold colours and graphic organic motifs, she is passionate about her work and has a sneaky sense of humour in the beautiful materials she chooses, the objects she crafts, the spaces she manifests. An artist, a connector and a dreamer, she understands that it takes a village to make things happen and counts on the best people to do it right.

Memphis Folding Chair by Nora Voon The simple yet elegant design is handcrafted in rustproof stainless steel in powder coated finish. Inspired from a paperclip and childhood candies, this a stackable folding chair that has a very clean and minimal frame design. The idea is to make a folding chair that pays attention to detail like the exposed brass screws and the groove throughout the frame of the chair. The profile is very simple and was designed intentionally to make it look almost like a line drawing therefore drawing the viewer to look closer at the details. The chair can be easily flat packed or stacked for large shipment

Dango Multifunctional Folding Chair by Nora Voon An indoor, outdoor multifunctional folding chair that can also turn into a lounge chair. It folds into a a flat pack and can be shipped easily. Inspired by the Japanese dessert called dango, the chair takes the form/shape of this inspired snack, especially when it is closed in the collapse form. Challenging technical aspect of this design is making sure that the angle on both lounge and chair version is comfortable and functional with a single ratchet. Taking into consideration that the chair should be lightweight for shipping purposes made of eco friendly foam and powder coated aluminum.
