Aranya Homes Reception Center by Y SPACE DESIGN CONSULTING FIRM Aranya is a reception center built beside a wetland park in Qinhuangdao. The building uses white steel frames, geometric boxes and large glass curtain walls, so the natural setting stays visible from inside. The interior takes the calm and solemn character of a church as a reference to create a peaceful atmosphere. The ceiling is covered with wood fiber sound absorbing boards that reduce noise in busy periods. Reception bars in box form stand at the entrances to guide and separate visitor flow. An acrylic display wall presents community activities.

Aranya Cafeteria 6 Restaurant by Y SPACE DESIGN CONSULTING FIRM Aranya Cafeteria 6 is a restaurant set in the underground space of a pet hotel. Seven light patios bring daylight inside and hold green planting, creating a natural atmosphere. Exposed concrete walls, ash wood furniture and plants define the brutalist character of the interior. Cool spotlights echo the steel pipes and air conditioning boxes on the ceiling, while warm light marks the dining tables. Storage for pets, a vending machine with pet snacks and a water dispenser for pets are placed near the entrance. Two hand washing areas serve the two entrances.

Chuan San Hao Train Hotpot by Y SPACE DESIGN CONSULTING FIRM Chuan San Hao is a hotpot restaurant built from genuine green-skinned train carriages. The carriages stand on parallel tracks laid along a wetland shoreline, so windows frame open views of the landscape. The original exteriors are polished and repainted to keep the authentic structure. The kitchen is placed in the middle carriage, linking passenger and private dining carriages to the north and south. An added intermediate space acts as an airlock, holding insulation, ventilation and a storage room for clothing. Private carriages include VIP and semi-private sections.
