Hanh's journey into jewelry design began 17 years ago when he purchased his first piece of jewelry as a gift for his girlfriend, who later became his wife. It was during this experience that he first noticed the subtle intricacies of fine jewelry and began wondering how he could make something more personal and meaningful. Though they later commissioned custom pieces together, the final products never fully captured his vision and intentions.

Still, it wasn’t until five years ago that Hanh truly began his self-taught journey into jewelry making. He started by designing pieces specifically for his wife—intimate, intentional, and entirely his own. In this process, he discovered his passion for working with Opals and their captivating play of light and color.

Hanh is captivated by the mesmerizing play of colors in Opals – their shifting hues and dynamic light reflect the complexity and beauty of human nature. He carefully selects each stone, ensuring it aligns with the spirit and aspirations of his clients. Derived from the Big Bang, Taichi Yin and Yang, the eye, and the cushion hexagon, the design symbolizes rebirth and prosperity. Australian Crystal Opal, with its vibrant play of color, presents challenges due to its softness and translucency. These were overcome using custom crafted settings and a blackened gold backing, ensuring enhanced fiery hues and durability when paired with 14K white and yellow gold.
